Regional Sales Representative in Denver, Colorado at APCO SIGNS

We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow sales in the assigned territory in a manner that protects and strengthens APCO reputation in the sign industry for excellence in product and service. Territory includes State of Utah and Colorado.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establish APCO as the premier source for architectural signing and displays in the territory.
2. Pursue new sources of business.
3. Building relationships with clients and customers.
4. Build long-term relationships with all who influence buying decisions: Designers, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, General Contractors and select Sign Companies.
5. Be the liaison between end users and the Sales Support Team at APCO.
6. Present APCO's AIA Continuing Education Classes to designers and architects in the territory that work in our markets (higher education, government, healthcare, corporate, etc.).
7. Make Product Presentations in conjunction with AIA CEUs and whenever requested or accepted.
8. Oversee development and presentation of sales proposals, budgets, samples, etc.
9. Provide timely Sales Projection Reports, Call Reports and Expense Reports.
10. Build relationships with major influencers in the territory.
11. Any additional duties that may be required to reach objective.

Necessary Skills and Training:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good organizational skills
• Detail Oriented
• Valid driver's license and Excellent Driving Record
• Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to read and interpret customer supplied documents for pricing and sample specification purposes
• Sign Industry Knowledge or ability to learn quickly
