About the Role:

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing data workflow schedules to ensure seamless and efficient operations within the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and adjusting data processing tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align scheduling priorities with organizational goals, ensuring data availability and integrity. By proactively identifying potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks, the Scheduling Coordinator helps maintain uninterrupted data flows and supports timely decision-making. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting data-driven initiatives across the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with data workflow scheduling tools or platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data processing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve scheduling issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific scheduling software such as Control-M, Autosys, or Apache Airflow.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation purposes.
  • Background in data engineering or IT operations.
  • Knowledge of database systems and data integration techniques.
  • Certification in project management or related fields.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data workflow schedules using specialized scheduling tools and software.
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and workflows to ensure successful execution and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to understand scheduling requirements and adjust workflows accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts, failures, or delays promptly to minimize operational impact.
  • Document scheduling processes, changes, and incidents to maintain clear communication and support continuous improvement.
