This role leads regional market expansion and field sales growth within an assigned territory.

Residence within or near the assigned geographic territory is required, with frequent in-person travel throughout the region.
The Market Development Manager will own regional growth while leading from the field, developing talent, strengthening partnerships, and connecting market intelligence with broader business strategy.
- Own the territory expansion strategy by identifying high-potential sub-markets, dealership partners, and long-term growth opportunities.
- Hire, mentor, coach, and develop Dealership Account Managers while building a culture centered on accountability, resilience, and partnership excellence.
- Develop and strengthen key dealership relationships through consultative support and a high-touch, service-focused approach.
- Lead by example in the field, modeling effective sales and partnership practices while driving volume and quality targets.
- Monitor market activity and translate field insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, competitive positioning, and local sales playbooks.
- Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and internal sales teams to ensure consistent execution and a seamless dealership experience.
- Build a high-performing, accountable field organization with strong retention and scalable dealership partnerships.
- Drive regional market share and contract-volume growth while maintaining strong alignment between field execution and senior-level strategy.
The ideal candidate brings strong automotive finance or dealership partnership experience, proven people leadership, and the ability to combine relationship-building with data-driven market development.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive lending, F&I, indirect auto, or dealership partnership environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading or developing a field sales team, including formal or informal leadership experience.
- Proven success expanding territories and increasing dealership production.
- Strong dealership relationships and established credibility within the local market.
- Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to coach and engage directly in the field.
- Customer-focused, highly organized, resilient, and committed to excellence.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Ability to analyze volume trends, identify opportunity gaps, and translate data into action.
- Comfortable working a six-day week and making frequent in-person dealership visits.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
- Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- $90,000–$300,000 annual compensation range.
- Base salary starting at $90,000 with uncapped monthly commission and performance-based bonus opportunities.
