Strategic Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager based in United States.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll help expand the adoption of advanced robotics across warehouses, manufacturing environments, and distribution centers.
You’ll build and strengthen strategic customer relationships while identifying opportunities to solve complex operational challenges through automation.
The role combines enterprise sales, consultative account management, business development, and strategic partnership building.
You’ll engage stakeholders from operations teams through the C-suite, translating sophisticated technical capabilities into clear business value.
Working across sales, marketing, product, engineering, and customer success, you’ll help deliver a consistent customer experience and bring market insights back into the organization.
You’ll lead complex sales cycles from initial discovery and qualification through negotiation and contract closure while maintaining strong pipeline visibility.
This is an opportunity to help bring emerging robotics and AI technologies to market at scale while contributing to a collaborative, ethical, and customer-focused sales environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new strategic business opportunities within target industries and accounts through market research, networking, and inbound lead qualification.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand complex customer challenges, operational requirements, and business objectives and align them with relevant robotic solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor, providing customers with insights into how robotics, automation, and related solutions can address their specific needs.
  • Develop and execute relationship management strategies that strengthen existing strategic accounts and create opportunities for expanded product adoption and long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships, communicating value propositions effectively with stakeholders ranging from operational teams to C-suite leaders.
  • Lead the full enterprise sales cycle, from qualification and discovery through solution development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Navigate complex customer engagement cycles involving diverse technical, operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline information to provide clear visibility into sales performance and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver a unified and exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to help inform product strategy, positioning, and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify innovative approaches to customer engagement and partnership development that support long-term business growth.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in a B2B technology environment, with demonstrated success managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Proven experience developing strategic customer relationships and successfully guiding enterprise accounts through complex buying and implementation processes.
  • Demonstrated passion for and understanding of robotics, automation, AI, or other emerging technologies, with experience bringing nascent technologies to market at scale.
  • Strong strategic and enterprise-level thinking, with the analytical ability to identify opportunities, understand complex challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical and business value propositions clearly to diverse audiences, including technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and business development expertise, with a focus on creating sustainable partnerships and measurable outcomes.
  • Unwavering integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated professional accomplishments.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States is required.

Benefits:

  • Anticipated base salary range of $136,000–$212,000 USD, with the final offer based on factors such as geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Fully remote work, with the option to work in a hybrid arrangement if within commuting distance of offices in Salem, Oregon; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Fremont, California.
