INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN – APPRENTICE LEVEL 3-4 (6,000+ HOURS) to JOURNEYMAN

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This posting is open to two candidate types:
- Licensed Journeyman ready to lead on industrial job sitesLevel 3 or Level 4 Apprentices with a minimum of 3 years of verified industrial electrical experience
If you're an apprentice who's been putting in real industrial hours and is ready for more responsibility, this is the role where you grow into a Journeyman. If you're already licensed and want to join a team that takes industrial work seriously, we want to hear from you too.
Industrial experience is strongly preferred for this role. While residential and commercial electrical experience can provide a foundation, it does not fully translate to the demands of this position. We are seeking electricians with proven industrial experience-specifically in troubleshooting, large conduit and wire pulls, motor controls, 480V systems, transformers and working within industrial environments who can contribute effectively from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Directing and managing electrical work on industrial job sitesTraining and mentoring newer team members and apprenticesInspecting installations to ensure quality and code complianceUpholding and enforcing job site safety standards (PPE, OSHA, NEC)Troubleshooting electrical issues from start to finish, often without complete schematics or full operator informationReading and interpreting blueprints, rough sketches, plans, and specificationsWiring 120V, 480V, and low voltage systemsWorking with lighting, transformers, motor controls, and switchboardsMeasuring, threading, bending, and running EMT and rigid conduit (½" – 4")Sizing feeders and managing tooling requirements per jobCommunicating clearly with customers, the service manager, and the teamOrganizing and planning projects of varying scaleAttending job site meetings and contributing to project coordinationConducting employee evaluations (Journeyman-level candidates)
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
One of the following is required:
- Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license, ORLevel 3 or Level 4 Apprentice with a minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience
- Demonstrated hands-on industrial electrical experience (verifiable, not just listed as a skill)Ability to troubleshoot from start to finish without relying on schematics or complete customer informationProficient with 120V, 480V, and low voltage systemsWorking knowledge of motor controls, transformers, lighting, and switchboardsExperience with feeder sizing requirementsAbility to measure, thread, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit up to 4"Strong working knowledge of NEC codeAbility to interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, and rough sketchesComfortable working with minimal supervisionCapable of training less experienced electriciansProficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systemsWilling and able to travel to job sitesAbility to lift 50 lbs.Valid driver's license
