This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling enterprise cybersecurity and identity engineering capabilities across a global, highly regulated financial environment. You will define and execute the security engineering strategy, ensuring robust protection of critical infrastructure, applications, and sensitive client data. Operating at the intersection of engineering, risk, and compliance, you will lead 24/7 global cybersecurity and IAM operations while driving modernization through automation, Zero Trust principles, and cloud-native security practices. This role requires deep technical expertise paired with strong executive leadership, with accountability for both strategic direction and operational resilience. You will collaborate closely with product, technology, risk, audit, and compliance teams to ensure secure-by-design systems and regulatory alignment. This is a high-impact position where your leadership will directly influence global security posture, enterprise risk reduction, and the scalability of secure financial operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and evolve the enterprise cybersecurity engineering strategy aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
  • Define security architecture standards and engineering roadmaps across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and data environments
  • Oversee global cybersecurity engineering teams managing controls such as SIEM, EDR, CNAPP, firewalls, and vulnerability management systems
  • Lead Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineering, including directory services, MFA, PAM, VPN, and password management solutions
  • Drive adoption of modern security approaches including Zero Trust, secure-by-design principles, DevSecOps practices, and automation (including AI-driven capabilities)
  • Ensure availability, scalability, and resilience of cybersecurity and identity services across global operations
  • Partner with Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001) and support audits and remediation efforts
  • Support incident response activities within a 24x7x365 global operating model
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to embed security across the product development lifecycle and supply chain access models
  • Manage cybersecurity engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic security partnerships
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on cyber risk, identity strategy, and security investments
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or security operations leadership roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity and IAM technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, CNAPP, PAM, MFA, directory services, VPNs)
  • Proven leadership of global, distributed security engineering and operations teams at scale
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably financial services or similar industries
  • Deep knowledge of cloud security architecture and modern enterprise security frameworks
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory and technical standards such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and STIG
  • Demonstrated ability to implement Zero Trust security models and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience leveraging automation and AI to improve cybersecurity operations and incident response efficiency
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate security vision into execution at enterprise scale
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP) strongly preferred
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range: $250,000 – $350,000 annually (depending on experience and location)
  • Annual performance-based bonus and incentive program eligibility
  • Equity or long-term incentive opportunities (as applicable)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan (401(k))
  • Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave
  • Wellness programs and mental health support resources
  • Global career development opportunities within a large, international organization
  • Exposure to complex, large-scale cybersecurity challenges in a regulated environment
  • Flexible work arrangements depending on role and location requirements.
