Job Description

Description:

Liaison between HR and business units, working closely with managers to ensure HR initiatives support organizational goals. Manages recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, training and development, workforce planning, and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the talent acquisition process for assigned openings by sourcing, interviewing, and placement of candidates. Ensure timely completion of hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Access talent opportunities and performance gaps. Partner with management to oversee talent planning, talent reviews, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and training to managers on performance, talent development, and employee relations matters. Provide day-to-day talent and performance management guidance (coaching, mentoring, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring compliance.
Requirements:

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR or business experience.
  • PHR/SPHR certification, or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills?.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure within deadlines; excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, define, and solve problems, set priorities, and implement solutions effectively with minimal direction or guidance.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, influence, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leaders and employees to provide guidance and counsel.
