Location: Boone, North Carolina | Full-Time | Exempt

What You'll Do as a Practice Manager Operational Leadership- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Streamline workflows and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and revenue cycle processes to support optimal patient access and financial performance.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and manage clinic budgets, revenues, and expenses.
- Collaborate with finance and billing teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and reimbursement processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and revenue enhancement.
- Support financial planning and resource allocation efforts.
- Ensure exceptional patient experiences through effective communication, customer service, and service recovery efforts.
- Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement programs.
- Partner with providers and clinical teams to improve patient outcomes and operational performance.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to address regulatory requirements and operational concerns.
- Support the implementation and optimization of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies.
- Evaluate opportunities for technology enhancements that improve efficiency and patient care.
- Facilitate effective communication between providers, staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Partner with organizational leaders and departments to achieve strategic and operational goals.
- Support organizational initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in clinic operations or healthcare management required.
- Previous leadership experience within a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
- Certification in Healthcare Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and operational planning.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with healthcare management software, practice management systems, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and patient-centered culture.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on operational excellence and organizational goals.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic environment as needed.
- Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment and computer systems.
- Visual acuity necessary to review reports, financial data, and written documentation.
- Primarily office-based work environment within a healthcare setting.
- Regular interaction with patients, providers, staff, and organizational leadership.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support operational needs and organizational initiatives.
