Position Information


The Division of Biomedical Sciences at the UC Riverside School of Medicine—dedicated to bridging the gap between basic science research and clinical medicine while addressing healthcare disparities in Inland Southern California—is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Executive Administrative Specialist to provide comprehensive, high-level analytical, project management, and administrative support. In this critical role, you will serve as a central operational resource and liaison for senior management, faculty, and staff by researching and synthesizing complex data for proposals, managing sophisticated executive calendars, coordinating travel and high-level events, and serving as a departmental guide on fiscal and administrative policies. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, and maintains the highest level of discretion and sound judgment within an academic health or medical school setting.The full salary range for the Executive Administrative Specialist is $68,361.12 - $109,244.16 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $86,422 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.This is a hybrid position, with three days onsite and two days remote.
