Location: Jacksonville, FL based, but working remotely
Position Type: Temporary / Project-Based Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Join Our TeamWe are seeking a polished, professional, and compassionate Patient Support Coordinator to support our Patient Experience team during a special project initiative. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients, helping ensure clear communication, exceptional service, and timely resolution of questions or concerns.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly professional on the phone, and able to communicate with empathy and confidence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inbound and outbound patient communications
- Provide patient follow-up and service recovery support
- Address concerns professionally and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate
- Accurately document patient interactions and outcomes
- Assist with administrative projects and communication initiatives as needed
- Deliver a positive, patient-centered experience with every interaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional phone presence and strong customer service abilities
- Ability to remain composed during sensitive or challenging conversations
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and documentation skills
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service, patient relations, or a similar field preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
- Temporary contract assignment
- Approximately 2-month project duration
- Potential for extension based on business needs
- Immediate start available
- Full-time hours may be required during the project
