This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Onboarding Specialist based in the United States.
This role focuses on leading the onboarding and implementation of large, high-value client accounts in a complex, multi-client environment.
You will act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to active service.
The position requires strong analytical thinking to interpret client requirements and translate them into tailored operational solutions.
You will coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant onboarding execution.
This is a highly client-facing role that blends operations, problem-solving, and relationship management.
You will also contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and overall client satisfaction.

- Manage onboarding and implementation of large and complex client accounts, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for key clients, addressing needs, expectations, and escalations.
- Analyze client requirements and design tailored onboarding and operational solutions.
- Oversee eligibility updates, qualified life events, and administrative processes with accuracy and compliance.
- Lead implementation meetings with clients and stakeholders to align on timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of onboarding activities.
- Identify operational challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Support system testing, enhancements, and rollout activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in insurance operations, banking, client onboarding, or similar fields.
- Strong understanding of administrative processes and operational workflows.
- Experience working with eligibility files or EDI/file feed processes is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve complex operational issues.
