About the Role

The Pre-Owned Hot Tub Technician is the heart of our pre-owned production pipeline. You'll diagnose,

repair, and fully refurbish pre-owned hot tubs to a resale-ready, like-new standard — ensuring every

unit meets our performance, safety, and quality bar before it reaches a customer. You'll also support

new product prep and in-house repair of demo and warranty equipment.

What You'll Do

Refurbishment & Repair

  • Diagnose pre-owned hot tubs using multimeters and other diagnostic tools
  • Repair electrical and plumbing systems using manufacturer-approved methods
  • Replace components including pumps, heaters, control systems, and plumbing assemblies
  • Perform full system testing to verify functionality and performance to factory standards

Quality & Readiness

  • Conduct final operational "wet testing" to ensure reliability before release
  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare units for resale presentation
  • Ensure all units meet internal quality standards prior to customer delivery

Workflow & Inventory

  • Track repairs, parts usage, and unit status using traveler sheets and internal systems
  • Coordinate with Inventory Control to maintain appropriate parts and supply levels
  • Identify recurring issues and communicate with leadership to improve efficiency

Workspace & Cross-Functional Support

  • Operate forklift and material handling equipment to move units safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace following CAYG (Clean As You Go) standards
  • Assist with in-house repairs on warranty and demo units
  • Provide backup support for new tub preparation and assembly for delivery as needed

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude — able to diagnose and repair electromechanical systems
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeter required)
  • Ability to read technical documentation and apply repair procedures
  • Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple units in different stages of repair simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, or similar)
