As our Quality Nurse Administrator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the quality and safety of patient care across our health centers. Working closely with nursing staff, providers, clinic leadership, and the VP of Nursing & Clinical Operations, you’ll help monitor clinical performance, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen clinical workflows, and support consistent standards of care across the organization.

Position OverviewThe Quality Nurse Administrator supports clinical staff and providers in monitoring and improving the quality and safety of patient care. This position is responsible for monitoring clinical workflows, collecting and analyzing quality data, conducting audits, supporting performance-improvement initiatives, and helping ensure clinical standards are consistently followed.
The position also supports initiatives related to infection prevention, medication management, immunizations, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, patient safety, and closing gaps in care.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Improvement & Performance Monitoring- Develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s clinical quality improvement plan.
- Monitor quality measures, preventive care screenings, chronic disease outcomes, and other clinical performance indicators.
- Analyze clinical and performance data to identify gaps in care and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead quality-improvement initiatives with measurable goals, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Track results and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement efforts.
- Prepare quality reports and present findings to leadership and quality committees.
- Conduct audits of clinical documentation, nursing practices, and healthcare workflows.
- Communicate audit findings to providers, nursing staff, and clinical leaders.
- Coordinate corrective-action plans when opportunities for improvement are identified.
- Monitor completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Maintain audit tools, quality records, policies, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor adherence to approved clinical protocols and preventive-care workflows.
- Review clinical incidents, patient-safety concerns, and near misses.
- Participate in root-cause analyses and help develop actions to reduce recurring risks.
- Promote timely reporting, accountability, and continuous organizational learning.
- Partner with clinical leadership to address patient-safety and infection-prevention concerns.
- Support consistent safety practices across health center locations.
- Support consistent nursing standards and clinical procedures across Aunt Martha’s health centers.
- Assess staff education needs and coordinate training related to quality, documentation, patient safety, and clinical workflows.
- Participate in nursing orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing staff education.
- Provide guidance to managers and staff on quality-improvement practices.
- Collaborate with clinic leaders to improve communication, care coordination, and patient follow-up.
- Support initiatives related to immunizations, screenings, chronic disease management, and closing care gaps.
- Coordinate with vaccine and infection-prevention staff regarding quality concerns within their programs.
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in quality improvement, clinical auditing, patient safety, or nursing leadership.
- Experience using Electronic Health Records and reviewing clinical performance data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Aunt Martha’s locations.
- Experience working in a multi-site healthcare or community health environment.
- Experience leading or participating in clinical quality-improvement projects.
- Experience with clinical audits, corrective-action plans, and performance monitoring.
- Experience supporting nursing education, clinical competencies, or staff development.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, vaccine programs, medication management, and preventive-care initiatives.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment and understanding of nursing practice.
- Ability to analyze clinical data and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to lead quality-improvement initiatives from identification through implementation and follow-up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly with providers, staff, managers, and leadership.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Initiative and the ability to proactively identify problems and develop practical solutions.
- Primary work location is Tinley Park, IL.
- Work is performed primarily in clinic and office settings.
- Ability and willingness to travel between Aunt Martha’s locations as required.
- Ability to work occasional late evenings, weekends, or scheduled holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain required nursing licensure, professional competencies, and organizational documentation.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
