Job Description
Rio Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer to help expand our established Trust & Wealth Management division throughout San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country.
This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing team while helping deepen our presence in one of Texas' most dynamic markets. As a Senior Trust Officer, you will manage complex trust and estate relationships, serve as a trusted advisor to clients and professional partners, contribute to business development, and provide mentorship and technical leadership within the department.
What You'll Do
- Administer complex trust, estate, agency, and investment management relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients and families.
- Build relationships with attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and referral partners.
- Contribute to business growth throughout Central Texas.
- Participate in Trust Committee discussions and fiduciary decision-making.
- Mentor other Trust Officers and serve as a technical resource within the department.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive responsibility for Trust administration, fiduciary services, estate administration, or wealth management.
- Demonstrated experience administering complex fiduciary relationships.
- Strong fiduciary, trust administration, relationship management, and communication expertise.
- Preferred
- CTFA designation; JD, CPA, or CFP® credentials.
- Graduate Trust School or similar advanced fiduciary training.
- Experience serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of trust administration, fiduciary principles, trust law, estate administration, taxation, and wealth transfer strategies.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Business development and referral generation skills.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
