Pharmacy Tech Analyst
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$27.82 - $41.73 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Occasional weekend coverage
+$2.50/hr for weekend shifts
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech Analyst to support pharmacy inventory management, procurement, and operational activities that ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective medication distribution. This role is responsible for medication and supply purchasing, inventory optimization, automated dispensing system oversight, and regulatory compliance, including controlled substance monitoring and DSCSA requirements. The Pharmacy Tech Analyst collaborates with pharmacy, finance, and vendor partners to maintain inventory accuracy, support daily operations, and drive workflow efficiency across the department.
Responsibilities include managing drug shortages, vendor relationships, inventory levels, invoices, and contract compliance while leveraging reporting tools and data to improve operational performance. The Pharmacy Tech Analyst also supports daily pharmacy operations and collaborates with pharmacists, technicians, finance teams, and external partners to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications
Education or Formal Training
•High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.)
•Pharmacy Technician certification required.
•Colorado PHAT non-provisional license required.
Experience
•Minimum 5 years hospital or retail technician experience required.
•Preferred Experience
•Previous experience with McKesson or Cardinal ordering.
•Previous experience with consignment ordering.
•Previous experience with contract management.
•Previous experience with inventory management.
