Billy Bob's Repair & Tire is a family owned and operated shop located on the south side of San Antonio. We have been in business for 15 years, and are growing. We have a team of skilled fabricators/welders who do a variety of jobs and we are currently seeking a fabricator with management/foreman experience and has some electrical Experience. We build specialty truck based equipment that is built completely out of aluminum. This is a unique equipment that we sell and ship nationwide. Our welders/fabricators also support our service business as needed. Customers come in with trucks and trailers needing roofs, walls, cross members, axles, etc. to be repaired or replaced. We are seeking a fabricator/welder who is proficient in both aluminum and steel welding, using TIG, MIG and aluminum spool gun.

The Fabricator/Welder responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

* Keeping their work area clean

* Must be able to schedule work and keep production moving in a timely manner.

*Must be able to keep up with ordering of metal & supplies.

* Be responsible for quality control inspections.
*Set of basic mechanic tools
*Mechanical aptitude required

* Maintaining a professional appearance

* Maintaining a professional relationship with customers and piers

* Willing to maintain a leadership role while still being a team leader and completing your own task.

Job Requirements:

* Experience with electrical wiring is a requirement
*Manufacturing experience is a plus
*Must be able to measure and cut metal accurately based off of plans
*Must be able to work as a team with other welders as needed and by them self as required

* Must have your own tools hand tools, we provide large shop type tools that are newer quality tooling

* Metal Brake experience

* Must be able to work with others and communicate with customers in a professional manner

* Must be able to lift 50lbs - 75lbs

* Must be able and willing to work in outdoor environment for long periods of time

* Must have previous experience

* Must be able to pass a drug test
