This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a AI Forward Deployed Engineer based in Switzerland.

As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing next-generation AI-powered process solutions into production for enterprise customers. You will own the complete deployment journey, from initial implementation and integration to customer enablement and long-term success. Working at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and customer collaboration, you will solve complex technical challenges and help shape emerging product capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to influence both customer outcomes and future engineering practices by transforming real-world learnings into scalable solutions. You will collaborate with global engineering teams while working directly with enterprise stakeholders to build reliable, intelligent systems. This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled professional who thrives in ambiguity and wants to define a new field of AI-driven implementation.

Accountabilities
  • Own end-to-end deployment journeys, from initial process configuration through production implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Deploy, configure, and optimize AI-powered workflow solutions within enterprise customer environments.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to drive adoption, build trust, and ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Configure and operate platform environments across local and cloud-based infrastructures, including debugging integrations and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Develop custom agents, connectors, and integration solutions to connect enterprise systems and address customer-specific requirements.
  • Build repeatable implementation frameworks, documentation, and best practices that improve future deployments.
  • Contribute directly to product evolution by sharing field insights, improving integrations, and addressing production challenges.
  • Support customer teams through knowledge transfer, training, and structured handover processes to ensure long-term independence.
  • Work closely with engineering teams across Java services, React interfaces, distributed systems, and AI-driven capabilities to improve reliability and scalability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering software solutions in enterprise production environments, with an understanding of governance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to debug integrations, build custom solutions, and work across complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with software engineering concepts, APIs, cloud environments, and enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to design and implement technical solutions involving AI technologies, including practical experience with prompt engineering, context management, agent testing, and AI workflow integrations.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to engineers, architects, and business leaders.
  • Comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments, making decisions, creating processes, and documenting learnings.
  • Experience in customer-facing engineering, professional services, consulting, or solution delivery roles is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance is a plus.
  • Experience with agentic AI systems, AI-integrated workflows, shared platforms, or open-source contributions is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Benefits
  • Fully remote working environment with flexibility to work from anywhere within eligible locations.
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with market standards and experience level.
  • Equity participation opportunities where applicable.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including home office support and coworking options.
  • Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits, including healthcare support and mental wellbeing resources.
  • Financial security benefits such as retirement or pension plans and insurance coverage where applicable.
  • Annual learning and development budget for courses, certifications, books, and professional growth.
  • Opportunities to collaborate internationally through team events, offsites, and company gatherings.
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture focused on innovation, ownership, and meaningful impact.
