DevOps Pleno

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevOps Pleno based in Brazil.

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence across complex technology environments. This role will play a key part in improving deployment processes, strengthening cloud infrastructure, and enabling scalable engineering practices. You will work closely with Software Engineering, Security, Networking, and Cloud teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices, combined with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges. You will contribute to large-scale migration initiatives, platform improvements, and cloud governance strategies. Accountabilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for DevOps initiatives supporting cloud integration and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and implement remediation actions according to established security standards and service level agreements.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stability, scalability, and efficiency across microservices environments using GitHub Actions and related tools.
  • Support AWS migration initiatives, including lift-and-shift projects across multiple cloud accounts and services.
  • Contribute to network architecture improvements, topology refactoring, and cloud infrastructure optimization.
  • Support identity and access management (IAM), cloud governance, and infrastructure standardization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Security, Networking, and Cloud teams to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Improve deployment speed, platform stability, operational efficiency, and overall cloud performance.
  • Contribute to cost optimization initiatives and cloud resource efficiency improvements.
  • Promote automation, scalability, and best practices across cloud-native environments.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or related technical roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
  • Experience with Ansible and familiarity with GCP environments.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, Security Groups, routing, and network architecture.
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure automation, cloud-native deployment patterns, and scalable architectures.
  • Understanding of network design, database configuration optimization, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience working with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and navigate complex technical environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
