Title: US HR Trainer
Location: Mocksville, NC

Job Summary:

The HR Trainer is responsible for the development, coordination, administration, and continuous improvement of employee training and development programs across the organization. This role serves as the central point of contact for all training-related activities, ensuring employees receive the knowledge, skills, and certifications required to perform their jobs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company, quality, and regulatory standards. The HR Trainer partners closely with managers, supervisors, Safety, Quality, and Operations teams to identify training needs, monitor employee competencies, maintain training records, and drive workforce development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Management
*Develop, coordinate, implement, and continuously improve company-wide training programs.
*Manage departmental training plans to ensure alignment with operational, safety, quality, and business objectives.
*Conduct training needs assessments in partnership with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and improve training materials, processes, and delivery methods.
*Support workforce development initiatives that enhance employee performance, engagement, and career growth.
New Hire Orientation & On Boarding
*Coordinate and facilitate New Hire Orientation programs for all new employees.
*Ensure new team members receive all required onboarding, safety, quality, and departmental training.
*Maintain onboarding documentation and training completion records.
*Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure successful employee integration and training progression
Training Records & Data Management
*Manage all training-related data entry with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
*Maintain and update training matrices to ensure current and accurate employee training status.
*Create, organize, and maintain a comprehensive training library, including procedures, work instructions, presentations, and learning materials.
*Ensure all training records, compliance documentation, certifications, and employee files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
*Monitor and track training completion, recertifications, and qualification requirements.
Competency & Performance Development
*Monitor employee competency levels and qualification status to ensure employees are performing at the required standards.
*Coordinate competency evaluations and skill assessments in partnership with department leaders.
*Support managers in identifying development opportunities and creating training plans to address performance gaps.
*Ensure employees progress through required training paths and achieve targeted competency levels
Compliance, Safety, and Quality Training
*Coordinate and monitor all required safety certifications and regulatory training requirements.
*Manage and track safety, quality, compliance, and job-specific training programs.
*Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, customer requirements, and applicable standards.
*Support internal and external audits by providing training documentation and compliance reports.
*Work closely with Safety and Quality teams to maintain training programs that meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
Reports & Communication
*Generate and distribute regular training status reports, compliance metrics, and training completion summaries for leadership.
*Provide managers and supervisors with updates on employee training progress, qualification status, and upcoming training requirements.
*Conduct routine follow-up meetings with managers to review training needs, compliance status, and employee development plans.
*Communicate training schedules, requirements, and deadlines effectively across the organization.
Continuous Improvement & Systems
*Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
*Recommend and implement improvements to training processes, materials, and delivery methods.
*Support the administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
*Promote a culture of continuous learning, development, safety, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of training compliance, safety regulations, and quality systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and database management.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred

Work Environment:

This position requires much of the work to be completed on the production floor and frequent work done in an office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and printers/scanners. Extended work hours might be required.

Pay Range: $43,000 - $52,000


M-F 8-5, with availability to work extended hours, nights and/or weekends (Required)
