Global SSD Demand Planner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global SSD Demand Planner based in United States.

This role is focused on driving accurate global demand forecasting and improving supply chain planning processes.
The position plays a key part in connecting sales, marketing, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service teams through integrated business planning.
You will collaborate with regional planners and data specialists to create reliable forecasts and support strategic decision-making.
The role combines analytical expertise, business insight, and stakeholder management to improve operational efficiency.
You will help identify demand trends, resolve planning challenges, and implement improvements that enhance customer outcomes.

Accountabilities:

The Global Demand Planner will lead demand forecasting activities, coordinate planning reviews, and drive improvements across global processes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, collaboration skills, and the ability to translate business data into actionable insights.

  • Develop accurate demand forecasts using business intelligence, market insights, sales input, and advanced planning models.
  • Collaborate with regional demand planners, sales, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to conduct global demand reviews.
  • Provide reliable forecasts to support effective demand planning and business decision-making.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, demand drivers, and forecast performance to improve future planning accuracy.
  • Perform root cause analysis on forecast accuracy, bias, demand variability, and other key performance indicators.
  • Create consolidated forecasts representing global unconstrained demand.
  • Evaluate planning deviations and assess their impact on current and future business plans.
  • Facilitate best practices, process improvements, and alignment among functional experts.
  • Develop and execute improvement initiatives with clear stakeholder communication plans.
  • Monitor forecast consumption, plan attainment, and performance metrics to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to enhance forecasting methodologies and planning capabilities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced demand planning professional with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across global teams. Success in this role requires expertise in forecasting, problem-solving, and strategic communication.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, sales operations, finance, or related fields.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales, marketing, finance, or business planning processes.
  • Experience with forecasting, integrated business planning (IBP), or demand management preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements and deliver business impact.
  • Strong executive presence and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels of an organization.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage complex global initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
