Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; sitting for extended periods of time with intermittent repetitive motions (such as typing), occasionally standing and/or walking with objects between 10-25lbs; and regular job related travel.
Shift
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with some evening, nights, and weekends required per business needs.
Job Summary
The Kentucky Regional Extension Center (Kentucky REC) is currently seeking a Quality Improvement Advisor to be responsible for implementing process improvement; project planning and implementation; customer service; professional and staff development, and progress reporting for practices. This position will work with multiple stakeholders across the state on Quality Improvement projects; gathering and capturing provider data; developing remediation plans; educating and assisting providers on federal regulations; and tracking progress for project purposes. The Kentucky REC serves as a trusted advisor to health care organizations, clinicians and leaders across the state, helping them to manage the complex and changing world of health care.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, and communication skills; and the ability to cooperate with fellow team members and co-workers.

Preferred Education/Experience
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in healthcare quality improvement.
