Overview
This is a hybrid career opportunity covering Central and surrounding Lancaster County Markets in PA. Requires flexibility for frequent travel within assigned markets as needed. Additional in-market office locations may be an option depending on space availability.
A Business Banking Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in contributing to the profitability and growth of the Business Banking segment while building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing business clients. Coordinate loan, deposit and fee income products and services that meet the needs of the customer. Collaborate closely with the Financial Center teams and Fulton partners to ensure seamless integration of services to both current and prospective clients. Seek opportunities to network and develop key centers of influence. Identify and successfully capitalize on cross-sell opportunities with bank partners. Achieve and surpass established sales goals with risk tolerance levels.
Responsibilities
- Identify, source and develop new business opportunities with lending, deposit and other financial service needs, utilizing the Fulton sales strategies. Conduct thorough research to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and financial goals. Execute effective prospecting strategies to expand the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing business clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs. Expand and identify new loan, deposit and other financial services opportunities within existing client base. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving requirements and provide tailored financial solutions. Understand client’s business model and cash flow.
- Provide annual relationship reviews to understand client’s needs and future plans. Serve as a trusted advisor and provide insights and recommendations to help clients achieve their business objectives.
- Focus on driving continuous improvement in portfolio revenue growth and nee production revenue. Achieve and surpass established sales goals within risk tolerance constraints.
- Review clients' financial situations and business operations to offer customized banking products and services. Provide guidance on cash management, financing options, investment opportunities, and other relevant financial matters. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Monitor the performance of client portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by clients, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of satisfaction. Utilize CRM tools and other systems to maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies governing banking activities. Conduct thorough due diligence on new clients and ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures. Mitigate risks associated with lending and financial transactions by implementing appropriate risk management practices.
- Foster a collaborative team approach with Fulton partners and financial center leaders to enhance client relationships. Exemplify the delivery of a superior customer experience. Participate in joint calling efforts for existing prospective customers.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: business administration or related field. (Required)
Experience3 or more years Business or Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking or Business Banking experience. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required)
- Experience in establishing new business relationships and retaining/growing existing relationships. (Required)
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products and CRM software. (Required)
- In-depth knowledge of Business Banking products and services and ability to analyze financial statements and assess risk. (Required)
- Excellent negotiation skills. (Required)
- Ability to balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the company. (Required)
