This role focuses on supporting advanced speech-to-text and language intelligence projects that help improve the accuracy and performance of AI-driven language models. You will work with real spoken data, transforming audio inputs into precise written content while analyzing linguistic structures and patterns. The position involves a mix of transcription, annotation, and language quality evaluation, requiring strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of grammar and syntax. You will also contribute to refining datasets that directly enhance machine learning and natural language processing systems. This is a highly detail-oriented role where linguistic expertise meets technology, offering exposure to real-world AI language applications in a remote-friendly environment. Your work will play a key role in improving how machines understand and process human language.
- Transcribe spoken audio and live speech into accurate, structured written text with high attention to detail and consistency.
- Annotate, summarize, and label spoken content to support dataset creation for speech and language AI systems.
- Identify, correct, and refine grammatical, syntactic, and structural errors in transcribed content.
- Analyze sentence structures, word order, and linguistic patterns to ensure data quality and linguistic accuracy.
- Apply knowledge of phonetics and phonology when reviewing and interpreting spoken language data.
- Perform proofreading, validation, and quality assurance checks on language datasets used for AI model training.
- Collaborate on improving dataset quality to enhance speech recognition and natural language processing performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, English, or a related field.
- Alternatively, prior experience in copywriting, proofreading, content writing, translation, or report writing.
- Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and written communication.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately interpret and transcribe spoken content.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking for language evaluation tasks.
- Familiarity with speech or audio-based work is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working with structured datasets and quality-focused repetitive tasks in a remote setup.
- Monthly in-hand salary of 20,000 – 24,000
