We are currently searching for an Area Manager of Stores to join our In Person Leadership Team. The Area Manager is responsible for driving performance, operational excellence, and a consistent brand experience across a portfolio of KREWE retail stores. This leader will coach and develop Store Managers and hold teams accountable to sales and operational goals. They will use business insights and store-level data to identify opportunities, improve performance, and ensure teams consistently deliver against KREWE’s standards. The Area Manager will serve as a key connection between stores and HQ, translating company priorities into action while surfacing opportunities and challenges from the field. The ideal candidate is a hands-on retail leader who balances commercial rigor with a strong understanding of brand, customer experience, and culture.
This role will oversee anywhere from 2-6 locations, and is based in our New Orleans or New York Headquarters, or Nashville Brick + Mortar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales goal and bottom line profits across designated fleet of stores.
- Analyze sales and KPI data to identify trends, improve associate productivity, product performance, and maximize profit margins.
- Utilize KREWE tools and best practices to achieve sales goals and foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure exceptional KREWE Guest Experience, visual brand standards, and operational processes are consistently executed to KREWE Standard.
- Ensure short- and long-term strategies are executed to drive sales growth across the territory.
- Strengthen customer loyalty through execution of KREWE Clienteling
- Assist Store Managers with building out a strategic calendar of events that generates brand awareness and incremental revenue.
- Build community relationships and partnerships within each market to strengthen brand presence and drive incremental traffic and revenue to stores.
- Utilize scalable coaching, development, and performance management tools to consistently level-up our teams
- Recruit, hire, and develop top talent to deliver exceptional in person experiences.
- Manage and develop retail teams, ensuring seamless customer journeys and high service
- standards.
- Communicate with store teams on sales performance, marketing campaigns, and operations.
- Maintain brand standards in store presentation and customer service to create a premium experience.
- Support the opening of new KREWE locations and activation of stores and temporary residencies to support brand growth within designated market
Requirements:
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-unit luxury retail.
- Ability to travel up to 50% out of the calendar year
- Proven success with driving sales results through behavior management
- Strong business acumen skillset and drive for delivering sales goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience and success utilizing clienteling to drive traffic, results and strengthen consumer loyalty.
- Expertise in multi-unit retail operations, with a focus on luxury fashion, apparel, or eyewear.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams positively and effectively across cultures and functions.
- High visual and brand standards, with sharp attention to detail and a strong understanding of personal style.
- Passionate about eyewear, fashion, and culture, with an appreciation for KREWE’s role in the industry.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead remote teams to deliver an impeccable client journey.
- Proven success with performance management and holding standards of accountability
- Familiar with best practices and emerging software, including POS systems, to support operational excellence.
- Motivated self-starter with exceptional time management skills, thriving under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent Excel and Google Suite skills are strongly preferred

Salary (for New York only): Up to $115,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
This reflects the base salary for this position. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and business needs. In addition to base pay, KREWE offers annual bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and employee discounts.
