Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Broomfield, CO location. The Electrical Engineering Intern will be part of the engineering team and will play a hands-on role in designing, enhancing, integrating, and testing control-system electronics for our next-generation quantum computers, including digital, analog, power, and RF components.
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to develop solutions and systems that meet evolving product and customer needs.
A successful Electrical Engineering Intern will bring foundational knowledge from coursework in analog, digital, power, and/or RF electronics; curiosity about complex hardware systems; and a collaborative, results-oriented approach to engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- You will be integral in the design and test of the Quantinuum control system, which includes digital, analog, and RF components
- You will collaborate with the Quantinuum engineering team to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers
- You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of hardworking engineers whose expertise ensures the success of the Quantinuum H-Series Quantum Computers
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Graduating on/after December 2027
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred
- Digital, Analog, and/or RF circuit analysis and design knowledge
- PCB board design and/or FPGA HDL coding (e.g., Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog) and simulation knowledge
- Software development experience
- Experience in teamwork and collaboration
- Individuals who are results-oriented and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done despite competing priorities
- Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written
