Job Title: Electrical Engineer II

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am- 4:30pm
CAD/3D Drafting/Support Software
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, technical drawings, and schematics at a high level.
• Can create electrical design drawings using AutoCad Electric.
• With some guidance from senior electrical engineers, able to work from project specifications, reference
documents to update and/or create new electrical power and control design documents.
• Can perform most electrical calculations for current and new designs with limited assistance.
• Can update instrumentation and electrical and control portions of a P&ID drawings with little guidance.
• Able to program PLC’s and HMI’s and can set up most PID loop designs with limited assistance from a senior
electrical engineer.
• Knowledgeable of MS Office and similar business related software and perform basic functions.
• Competent in the use of Epicor and can add and mange BOM’s, perform required research to needed
information and can assist with the management of project schedules.
Problem Solving/Troubleshooting
• Assists in leading a team of fellow engineers, designers, and drafters with resolving of a design challenge.
• Can perform intermediate electrical trouble shooting and problem solving with some oversight.
Teamwork/Collaboration
• Interfaces with engineering staff, manufacturing staff, and operations staff in a productive manner to gain
needed information to properly perform electrical design work.
• Participates in engineering design meetings to learn and grow experience of design methods and processes.
• Works closely with fellow engineers, designers, and drafters to improve quality and efficiency.
• Guides entry level electrical designers and CAD drafters in the performance of their work.
• Contributes to electrical design reviews for new and existing product designs.
Requirements:Qualifications:

to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Experience in Power Distribution (Power and Control), switchgear, PDU, transformers, and Manufacturing is preferred.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Technology with 5-10 years of electrical design experience, or an
Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology with 9-12 years of experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, interpret, electrical drawings and technical specifications, can understand basic electrical circuit diagrams,
schematics, electrical blueprints and drawings. Can utilize reference tables to determine the definition of basic electrical
symbols and design callouts. Can read, and understand production reports related to quality, and quantity. Must be able to
write NCR’s and comply with safety rules. Must be able to establish productive and effective communication ties and
relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and staff.
Math Ability:
College level technical math.
Certificates and Licenses:
Professional Engineer or Engineering In Training
