Position Profile
Provides overall direction of patient services and daily operations for a designated clinical office or clinical department. This position provides leadership and proactive support to assure outstanding customer service, a well-motivated, compassionate and competent staff, a reputation of excellence, prudent use of agency resources and compliance with all regulatory guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities
- Promotes quality service delivery.
- Promotes referrals and business development.
- Coordinates plans with Business Development for growth; ensures excellent customer service and collaboration with community partners. Facilitates continuous improvement and assures compliance with regulatory guidelines/HOV policies.
- Assures quality utilization reviews and chart audits.
- Provides inspiring leadership.
- Hires, supports and retains high performing staff.
- Empowers staff and delegates/shares responsibilities.
- Maximizes HOV resources.
- Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills.
- Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing.
- Minimum three years leadership experience.
- Current state of Arizona license as a registered nurse.
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
- Supervisory principles related to interviewing and performance management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy and authority and interpret and explain complex information. Strong presentation skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to meet people with ease and build rapport. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families.
- Strong mentoring and conflict management skills.
- Possess professional image, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Advanced critical thinking skills including the ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in multiple ways, to assess accurately and to choose a reasonable action.
- Ability to review monthly reports, analyze trends and prepare annual budget.
- Ability to manage time well, meet deadlines and perform with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and follow-through.
- Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- Hospice or home health experience.
- Prior leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
