Job Summary
The Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process of National Trench Safety’s workforce by proactively sourcing top industry talent within their assigned region. They will be a strategic partner for our business and an ambassador of our culture. The Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist will guide hiring managers and candidates through our selection process, maintaining excellent relationships with managers and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to drive full cycle recruitment, including actively sourcing top candidates using various recruitment techniques and strategies in response to current, anticipated, and future workforce requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with candidates, gaining a valuable insight into their requirements and concerns.
- Conduct initial screening interviews, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and follow up with hiring managers and candidates for interview feedback to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process.
- Communicate consistently and proactively throughout the interview process to ensure a positive experience for all participants involved.
- Develop action plans for aging requisitions and provide frequent touch points with hiring managers on progress and results.
- Actively participate in the development of candidate marketing to attract the competencies and skill sets needed for organizational success.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) including candidate dispositions, tracking of interviews, submittals, and offers.
- Coordinate with other team members to onboard new hires successfully.
- Generate regular recruitment status reports for the Talent Acquisition team and leadership.
- Collaborate with Compensation to negotiate candidate salaries and allowances in accordance with budget constraints.
Knowledge and Skills
- Recruitment and Organizational Development Skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with HR LAW, CA Labor Law and Benefits
- High level of professional integrity and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in any related field including Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration or Marketing
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, Agency experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in facilitating the identification and attraction of of industry leading talent
- Proficient experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
