OBJECTIVE & POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director, the Associate Director of Florence Crittenton oversees the day-to-day clinical operations of FloCrit programs. In collaboration with the FloCrit leadership team, they provide day-to-day clinical and administrative oversight in the absence of the Program Director.
- Ensures that clients receive clinically-appropriate care.
- Coordinates variety of activities for residents in care and receiving treatment.
- Ensures contracts and licensing regulations are understood and practiced.
- Ensures the professional capacity, therapeutic and cultural competence of the clinical team and residential staff by providing training, feedback and clinical supervision.
- Directs agency’s compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Coordinates clinical quality improvement and management, access to care, transfer, triage, caseload management, timely documentation, productivity, and direct service functions.
- Implements and manages service and performance improvement, and corrective action plans, and manages program statistical data.
- Participates in performance and evaluation activities, coordinates/facilitates training, and clinical supervision when assigned.
- Provides treatment and direct care for small caseload of clients.
- Responsible for sharing in after-hours on-call rotation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibility and creates a unifying workforce to support team member development, growth, and performance management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Required:
- Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or related field.
- At minimum, two years of related clinical supervision experience in operating programs and services for a non-profit organization.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Must be licensed by Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy.
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card and current TB test required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training and experience with chemical dependency. Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) or equivalent a plus.
- Experience with adolescents and/or residential settings.
- Generalist knowledge in general mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness.
- Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish.
IN-PERSON POSITION: Position is typically performed in-person. Individual must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
