About This Position

Lifecycle Construction is looking for a self-driven, talented Staff Accountant. A Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting team responsible for managing and overseeing various financial tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role typically involves a combination of day-to-day accounting operations, month-end and year-end close processes, and providing support for audits and financial analysis. The salary range for this role is $45K-$60K.

The Staff Accountant will focus on two main entities (and their associated sub entities): Lifecycle Construction Services LLC and Rappahannock Development Group.

Lifecycle Construction Services, LLC headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA is a full-service Design-Build firm specializing in providing sustainable design and construction solutions for federal agencies across the country

Rappahannock Development Group acquires undeveloped land strategically located within designated primary growth areas, obtains zoning and construction entitlements, and delivers finished residential lots to national and regional homebuilders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Credit Card Management and Reconciliation
  • Daily Cash Reconciliation
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on AR, AP, Cash and their reconciliations
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
