A rural Texas hospital seeks an experienced Family Medicine Physician (no OB) to join the team. The Heart of Texas Healthcare System is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Brady, Texas. The hospital features a wide range of services to meet all of our rural health care needs. We attempt to focus on a higher quality of care rather than a higher quantity of patients, which allows us to see patients on a regular basis and provide comprehensive care. Applicants must have a license to practice medicine and board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine or family medicine and a valid DEA registration number.

Requirements:Family Medicine Physician Duties and Responsibilities
Provide primary care services
Conduct patient exams
Order/interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
Prescribe medicine or implement treatments
Update patient charts and EMRs
Family Medicine Physician Requirements and Qualifications
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
License to practice medicine
Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
DEA registration
BLS certification
Bilingual communication skills (preferred but not required)
