Clinical Reviewer - (LPN, RN, PA) in Timonium, Maryland at FOTHERINGILL & WADE LLC

We are a Towson, MD based company that assists hospitals with appealing medical claims that have been wrongfully denied by insurance companies and Medicare.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Physician's Assistant to review medical charts and write appeals to insurance companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician to create a new career path building on their established clinical expertise.

Work hours are flexible but must be performed on-site Monday through Friday.

Required skills and expectations:

Review and interpret medical records to appeal denied insurance and Medicare claims for inpatient and outpatient services.

Apply clinical judgment and knowledge for level of care and medical necessity reviews.

Excellent written and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to write professional business letters.
