The advanced practice nurse (APN) provides clinical leadership to the Inpatient Rehab nursing staff by overseeing the nursing care, developing and implementing needed educational plans, and assisting with meeting nursing requirements for accredidations and certifications.Provides medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician. Demonstrates professionalism as a nurse practitioner. A master''s degree in nursing is required, as is current nursing licensure in the state of Illinois. At least 2 years of general nursing practice in a hospital setting is required.
