Pharmacist Practice Resident at Berkshire Health Systems – Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Clinical Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Resident is responsible for performing all functions of a clinical pharmacist as part of a structured one-year residency program designed to advance the resident’s clinical and professional competencies. Throughout the program, the resident will develop enhanced skills as both a clinician and an educator while providing care to patients and collaborating with health care professionals in inpatient and ambulatory care settings at Berkshire Medical Center. The resident also seeks to improve workflow in procedural areas by establishing a patient-centered care model that enhances operational efficiency, minimizes adverse medication-related events, and reduces medication costs for both the hospital and its patients
