Rental Account Manager in West Columbia, South Carolina at Dobbs Equipment

Summary of Primary Functions:
Dobbs Equipment is seeking a Rental Account Manager. This position will be responsible for the rental of all new and used John Deere equipment and all allied products, distributed by Dobbs Equipment. The Rental Account Manager will be responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential clients to grow the rental market share in their given territory.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned)

Rent and promote the entire product line distributed by Dobbs RentalResponsible for meeting and/or exceeding rental revenue targets set by ManagerGrow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase rental market shareProspecting and cold calling to increase customer base and market presenceTravels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers at the store or by phone.Responsible for utilizing rental lead platform, calling on all contractors and sub-contractors in territoryMaintains a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the time spent in the field and the office and provides this schedule to the Manager.Tracks all quotes including jobs won, jobs pending, jobs lost and jobs developing in CRMAttend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and promotions

Qualification: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Valid Driver’s LicenseEquipment Sales experienceEquipment Rental Sales experience preferred

Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or a minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving recordAbility to communicate effectively with teammates and customersStrong problem-solving skillsMust be able to self-manage/self-motivatePC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and CRM platformsBilingual a plus
