Invoice Verification Specialist - Part Time at BALL HORTICULTURAL COMPANY – West Chicago, Illinois

Ball Horticultural Company is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to process and resolve discrepancies on invoices from our 3rd party suppliers. Ball provides innovative plants, extensive experience, best in class customer service, and reliable supply to professional growers.

This involves working closely with suppliers as well as our internal supply chain team to effectively manage all invoice processes related to our suppliers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Process supplier invoices within the terms of payment with high accuracy to provide the best experience for our customers and suppliers.
• Investigate and resolve any cost discrepancies to ensure accurate invoices.
• Responsible for clearing a monthly unbilled report and statement for each supplier so that invoices are handled in a timely manner.
• Cross train with Claims team.
• Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• 2-3 years of experience with accounts payable or similar
• Must have proficient PC knowledge, including MS Outlook
• Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
• Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
• Works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand 100% of the day
• Ability to use hands/fingers 100% of the day
