Job Description
Position Summary
Performs secretarial and clerical duties and office functions necessary for the departmental daily operations.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Completes scheduling for Audiology and Speech outpatients.
2. Registers patients in Affinity.
3. Obtains insurance verifications/authorizations and pre-certifications; communicates benefits to patients and staff.
4. Completes all billing in a timely fashion.
5. Prepares purchase requisitions and routes for proper signatures.
6. Performs other clerical duties as necessary.
