Advanced Practice Provider – General Surgery

We are searching for a talented, experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner for our General Surgery Practice. The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care alongside other members of the interdisciplinary patient care team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative visits, including patient education, surgical planning, and follow-up care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and endoscopy results
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Provide patient counseling on disease processes and treatment options
  • Round on inpatients assigned to General Surgery; assist with consultations requested by the ED and Hospitalist services
  • Coordinate referrals and procedures as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Bachelor Master of Science degree, or Master of Nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • Three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Nurse Practitioner in General Surgery preferred
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • NH Board of Nursing licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • BLS certification preferred

Physician Assistant

  • Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of American Medical Association Approved Physician Assistant Program
  • Three years of experience as a Physician Assistant
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Physician Assistant in General Surgery preferred
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • NH Board of Medicine licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant
  • BLS certification preferred
