Business Functional Analyst (TMT – Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform)

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Business Functional Analyst to support a federal client’s Task Management Tool (TMT) deployments within a Department of Defense environment. This role is fully onsite and requires daily engagement with senior leadership, business users, and technical teams to ensure mission-critical tasking systems operate effectively and efficiently.
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and expanding a Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform–based solution. Your work will directly contribute to operational transparency, improved business processes, and successful adoption of enterprise task management capabilities.
What You’ll Do
As a Business Functional Analyst, you will:

Work onsite 100% of the time supporting Department of Defense stakeholders

Serve as the primary point of contact for business users, senior leadership, and technical staff

Manage customer expectations regarding solution functionality and deployment timelines
-
Perform business process improvement activities and design Power Automate workflows
-
Advise customers on best practices for configuring Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, and the TMT solution
-
Support change management initiatives to drive successful adoption of new capabilities
-
Conduct classroom training sessions and provide desk-side user support
-
Update and maintain formal training materials and configuration documentation
-
Support technical staff during installation activities, including account creation, configuration, and troubleshooting
-
Conduct functional testing and lead user acceptance efforts
-
Provide application troubleshooting support aligned with Help Desk operations
-
Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI to support leadership briefings and operational oversight
-
Provide administrative support for related tasking processes
-
Develop backup support procedures to ensure continuity of business operations
-
Deliver reports and presentations for executive leadership
Schedule & Shift Details

Full-time (40 hours/week)

100% onsite in the National Capital Region
Requirements
-
U.S. Citizenship required
-
Secret clearance required or higher
-
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications
-
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Power Platform solutions
-
Experience performing business process improvement and workflow automation
-
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership
-
Experience working within federal or Department of Defense environments
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate implementations

Experience providing end-user training and change management support
-
Familiarity with Help Desk operations and enterprise support environments

Experience supporting secure government networks and mission-focused operations
