The Marketing Associate role is to support the growth and visibility of Oakridge Landscape, with a focus on the Maintenance and Arbor divisions. This role requires a full understanding of Oakridge’s services and a passion for identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness, enhance the client’s experience, and drive revenue growth. You'll be a key player in strengthening our online and offline marketing presence and ensuring consistent communication across all channels.

Requirements:

Division-Focused Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute marketing initiatives that promote Maintenance and Arbor services.
  • Analyze performance to identify growth opportunities and campaign improvements.
  • Support go-to-market plans for new services or client segments.

Digital Presence & Social Media

  • Manage and grow Oakridge’s LinkedIn and other social media platforms with a strong focus on content for Maintenance and Arbor.
  • Work with the website team to update service pages, post blog content, and enhance SEO for relevant keywords.
  • Plan and manage online advertisements targeting key markets and decisionmakers.

Internal & External Communications

  • Create and distribute monthly or quarterly Company Newsletters, highlighting division updates, team stories, and project spotlights.
  • Coordinate and support Lunch & Learns, Oakridge-hosted events, and industry networking opportunities.

Promotional & Print Collateral

  • Oversee the design and production of branded giveaway items, brochures, flyers, and event signage.
  • Ensure consistency across email signatures, business cards, and other branded assets.

Client Experience & Brand Growth

  • Partner with client-facing teams to support a positive brand experience through timely communications, customized materials, and event follow-ups.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to elevate client satisfaction and deepen loyalty.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the construction, architecture, or landscape design industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and website CMS (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements and working conditions

  • Office environment with field visits for marketing events.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • May require flexible hours during peak season.

  • Speaking: Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job, such as communicating with multiple personnel.
  • Vision: Normal visual acuity. • Walking: Able to walk for a prolonged period outdoors.
  • Able to drive to multiple locations throughout the week.
  • Stand: Able to stand, bend stoop, kneel as needed during job walkthrough.
  • Lifting to 20lbs.
  • Pushing up to 20 lbs.
