Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. in Johnstown, PA is seeking a skilled and motivated Test Operator to join our second‑shift team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the proper form, fit, and function of completed remote weapon stations, as well as electrical assemblies and sub‑assemblies. Your work will help ensure our products meet strict specifications, quality standards, and production schedules that support our mission in the defense industry.

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace Inc. is part of Kongsberg Gruppen (KONGSBERG), an international knowledge-based group that supplies high technology systems and solutions to its customers engaged in oil and gas production, the merchant marine, and the defense and aerospace industries. Kongsberg Protech Systems USA performs final assembly and testing of Remote Weapon Stations. The company also performs repair and overhaul (R&O) of Remote Weapon Stations that come back from field operations.

Education:

High school diploma/GED equivalent is required; however, an associate's degree is preferred.

Experience:

1-2 years of prior manufacturing production experience, electronics or computer education, or technical/military training in a testing environment is preferred.

6 months (+)

Position will start as day shift until fully trained to do second shift
