Job SummaryThe Division of Cardiology is seeking an individual to help support our growing scientific research. Qualified individual will have sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects of lab operations.
The Research Program Support Specialist will assist the Research Director and Division Administrator with key research fiscal and administrative tasks including supply ordering, travel expenditures, and grant application activities.
This position will also be responsible for regulatory and compliance oversight of the Cardiology Research Labs including IACUC, IBC and IRB protocols and related inspections. Responsibility for equipment including routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ordering new equipment as needed.
Over time, this position will be involved in upkeep of shared operational procedures and policies to maintain our high research standards and expectations for excellence.
