Physical Therapist - Outpatient in North Kansas City, Missouri at North Kansas City Hospital

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisor, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. Physical therapist to work in a dynamic team environment with up to 8 PT's, 3 OTs and 1 SLP. Clinic is newly developed as of July 2022 and continues to grow to service a variety of therapy needs ranging from orthopedic to neurological in nature. PT will be mentored by a team of clinicians who value 1:1 patient care, 45-60 minute treatments in length. Schedule will be 4-10 hour days with day off to be determined at time of hire. As a part of our larger NKCH Physical Therapy team, required to work only 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend per year minimum, with training/ mentoring provided in the acute care area for these days.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), PT (Physical Therapist)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Physical Therapy
