E-Commerce Summer Internship

We're looking for a fast-learning, detail-loving, tech-curious intern to join our E-Commerce team for the summer! Reporting directly to our Manager, E-Commerce, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our online store’s performance, functionality, and user experience. This is a summer internship that is perfect for a student or recent grad with an interest in e-commerce and web design.
We are looking for someone who’s eager to roll up their sleeves and get to work!

• Support the Ecommerce Manager and Associate in day-to-day tasks across our E-Commerce platform

• Assist with product listings - including descriptions, pricing, images, and taxonomies

• Assist with UX related activities, such as improving brand pages, category pages and provide input on improving user experience

• Use HTML/CSS skills to make simple site updates and styling improvements.

• Help QA for landing pages, promotional pages and any new web content before it goes live

• Help conduct site audits to ensure content and promotions are accurate and visually optimized

• Help monitor website performance

• Conduct basic competitor research and compile findings to support campaign planning

• Support the team, as required in various roles including email marketing and social media, as needed.

• Share any cool or innovative ecommerce trends you spot!

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Web Design/Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail – you notice the missing period and the pricing error

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS to make small updates, as required. Knowledge of JavaScript and GraphQL specifically for Headless CMS is nice to have.

• An eye for good UX/UI design and a basic understanding of what makes a great online experience

• Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic analytics, and online research

• Curiosity and a team-first attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills
