RN Staff at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking an RN with preferably one year of hemodialysis experience. We are willing to train the right candidate who is willing to make a long-term commitment to our department. We provide hemodialysis services at all 5 WKH locations to include, but not limited to, patients admitted to ICU/CCU, Med/Surg, and Step-down units. Hemodialysis staff have a low nurse to patient ratio and the department is also able to provide flexible scheduling. However, the department does require a call rotation. Reliable transportation is required due to travel in between WKH facilities. Mileage is compensated by the health system at a preset limit. The preferred candidate must be able to work productively and independently. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients with many disease processes and comorbidities. The ideal candidate must be able to make quick and accurate decisions in an extremely fast-paced and challenging environment.
