Clerical CNA - Surgical Services at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Clerical Certified Nursing Assistant (CCNA) in the Surgical Services department provides clerical and nursing support duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the Surgery department. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, ordering supplies and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and escorting patients out to vehicles after discharge.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• State of Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure
• BLSP(CPR) from the American Heart Association
