Primary Purpose:
The Talent Management Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and project management support by partnering with department leaders to help facilitate systems and processes for all functions of human resources.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of data and records management for Uplift’s employee population.
  • Responsible for entering employee information into the HRIS, including position and assignment information, pay information, offer letters, employee file documents, and employee certification and qualification data.
  • Responsible for the collection, preparation, organization, and maintenance of all employment-related records, including, but not limited to I-9 forms, personnel files, reports, Service Records and certifications, and ensures proper storage, organization, and retrieval of information of such records.
  • Completes the pre-employment background and fingerprinting process for all employees.
  • Ensures subscribing to DPS database is executed during on and off boarding process.
  • Responds to inquiries for verification of employment for prospective, current, and former employees.

Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; may substitute equivalent work experience for degree preference.
  • Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of Human Resources or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Special Skills/Certifications: Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while working on multiple projects simultaneously, quantitative, and analytical skills, excellent writing, oral and interpersonal skills, highly organized and detail oriented with a customer service mindset.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP is required within one year of employment.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Communication Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally, and maintain professionalism under stressful conditions.
  • Bi-lingual Skills: Spanish preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Frontline.

Work Environment:
Employee must be able to maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours will be necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to feel, touch, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Starting Salary: $55,000
