About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Specialist to join our dynamic team in Wixom, MI. This role goes beyond identifying defects—it’s about ensuring software excellence through collaboration, test automation, and active participation in the release cycle. The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of QA experience in an Agile environment, a solid background with tools like JIRA and SQL Server, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Testing & Certification
- Certify software functionality for new production releases.
- Perform manual testing across mobile/web applications, analytics, accessibility, and hardware firmware.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, regression suites, and cross-system integration tests.
- Collaboration & Process
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to user story development, testing estimates, and validation planning.
- Partner with developers and dependent teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
- Present results at release sign-offs and manage the defect backlog to resolution.
- Automation & Tools
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
- Contribute to automation efforts using low-code technologies.
- Manage and optimize QA tools and processes.
- Quality Management
- Maintain QA metrics and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality guidelines.
Position Type:
This is a full-time position located in Wixom, MI; 40 hour minimum, with the expectation to maintain a regular work schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of QA experience in an Agile team environment.
- Experience with:
- Defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
- API testing tools (Postman)
- Manual testing across multiple platforms
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years QA experience, including test automation.
- Healthcare software experience and compliance knowledge.
