Primary Care Physician (Hagerstown) at Talantage, LLC – Hagerstown, Maryland

Job Title: Primary Care Physician

Talantage, LLC is currently seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to provide medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
• BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
