Grounds Operator I in Naples, Florida at Quail West Foundation Inc

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Grounds Operator I to join our Grounds team! The Grounds Operator I will assist with the daily care and maintenance of Quail West’s beautifully maintained grounds and landscaping, helping ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our members and guests.

• This is a Full-Time Hourly Position
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM (plus one weekend per month)
• Pay rate: $18/hour

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Maintain landscaped areas to ensure a clean, attractive, and well-kept appearance throughout the property.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Participate in departmental training to ensure consistent grounds maintenance standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Grounds team to complete daily assignments efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating landscaping or grounds maintenance equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions, solve problems, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious work ethic.
• Willingness to participate in training and follow established policies and procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
